Anne D. (Niewaroski) Olszowy, 90, of Little Falls, passed away on July 1, 2013. Born in Lodi, she was a 1940 Graduate of Lodi High School and lived in Passaic before moving to Little Falls in 2005. A parishioner of St. Clare's RC Church, Clifton, Annie a World Traveler, enjoyed gardening, painting and was an excellent cook. Annie's family and friends enjoyed her signature dishes of London Broil, Baked Macaroni, Twice Baked Potatoes and Ice Box Cake. Annie was an avid reader, solver of crossword puzzles and hosted her annual pool party for family, friends and neighbors. She was a loving, kind, patient and giving woman, who prayed the Rosary daily. Because of her positive attitude, she only saw the good in people. She will truly be missed, loved, and remembered always. As an Executive Secretary, Anne worked for United Piece Die Works in Passaic, Vornado in Garfield, Leeds Fox in NYC, and Lloyds Electronics in Edison. Annie was also the Co-owner of Ann-Tone Dress Shop in Newark for several years. She was a member of the Rosol-Dul American Legion Post #359, Passaic. Beloved wife of the late Major Emil Olszowy (US Army), former Passaic City Councilman and NJ State Assemblyman, who passed away in 1980. Devoted mother of Ronald and his wife Margaret of Little Falls. Loving grandmother of Linnea Pantaleone and her husband Anthony of Marlton, and Ron, Jr. of Little Falls. Cherished great grandmother of Nina Victoria Pantaleone. Dear sister of the late Chester, John, Sylvester, Peter, Edward and Emil Niewaroski, Stella Bialek and Julia Sudol. Dear sister in law of Irene Izsa of Garfield and Toni Spano of Asbury Park. Loving aunt of several nieces and nephews. Cherished Godmother of Gail Coppola and the late Robin Faller. Special thanks to Dr. Frank Degiacomo of Clifton who cared for her for many years and the staff of Regency Gardens in Wayne for their tender care, love and support. Funeral Monday, July 8, 2013, 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM St. Clare's RC Church, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations made to St. Clare's RC Church, 69 Allwood Rd., Clifton, NJ 07014, in memory of Anne, would be greatly appreciated.
