Anne Christie's Obituary
Anne (DeBiasio) Christie, 100, of Cresskill, passed away on December 18, 2017. Born in Creekside, PA, she moved to New Jersey with her parents Angelo and Roselina (Chimalara) DeBiasio and her five siblings when she was 12, and lived in Garfield and Clifton before moving to Cresskill 4 years ago.
Anne loved traveling with her husband David and their great adventure sailing their boat from Florida to New York when they were in their 70's. She will be remembered by many for her constant smile, crocheting and quilting, and creating Fabergé Eggs.
Devoted wife of the late David who passed away in 2006. Beloved mother, she will be greatly missed by her children Anne Pallen and her late husband Paul of Whiting, Eileen Negrycz and her husband Gary of Ridgewood, David and his wife Maureen of Clifton, and Richard and his wife Denise of Wayne. Dear sister of Louis DeBiasio, her older brother, and his wife Helen of Lincoln Park, Olga Schott of Ramsey, and the late Assunta, Henry and Silvio. Loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral Friday 10:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Interment, Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton. Visiting Thursday 3-7 PM at the funeral home.
