Anna Marakovits, 97, of Clifton, passed away on December 2, 2025. Born in Northampton, PA, she has been a resident of Clifton for 47 years.

A parishioner of Holy Trinity RC Church, Passaic, Anna belonged to the Holy Trinity Golden Agers and the Burgenlaender Society.  Anna worked for Hoffmann-LaRoche in Nutley for over 30 years, retiring in 1988, and was a member of the Roche Retirees.

Beloved wife for 50 years the late Edward Marakovitz who passed away in 2002. Devoted mother of Carol Kramer and her late husband Stephen, Joseph Marakovits, and the late Allen Marakovits who passed away in 2017. Loving grandmother of Christopher Kramer and his wife Lindsay, Lauren Christie and her husband Steve, Kimberley Marakovits, Gregory Marakovits and his wife Allison, Kelsey Marakovits and Matthew Marakovits. Cherished GiGi of Carter, Abigail, Logan, Lillian, Wesley, Morgan and Rowan.

Visiting Friday, December 5, 2025, 4-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Saturday, December 6, 2025, 7:45 AM at the funeral home and 9 AM at Holy Trinity RC Church, Passaic. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
