Anna (Kormanik) Kormanik, 89, of Paramus, passed away on August 6, 2014. Born in Jarabina, Czechoslovakia, she came to the US in 1968 and lived in Cliffside Park before moving to Paramus 19 years ago. A parishioner of St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Cathedral, Passaic, Anna worked for the Prudential Corp. in NYC for 23 years, retiring in 1987. Beloved wife for 65 years of Vasil "Charles". Devoted mother of Vasil "Charles" Kormanik , and Ivan Kormanik and his wife Margaret, all of Paramus. Loving grandmother of Jessika and Michael. Dear sister of the late Terka, John, Maria, Milka, Katharina, Marta and Justina. Funeral Saturday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Michael's Cathedral, Passaic. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visiting Friday 1-3 and 6-9 PM at the funeral home, with Parastas at 7:30 PM.
