Anna (Kopa) Yarrish Jarosz, 102 years of age of Clifton, passed away on August 5, 2010. Anna was born in Mayfield, PA on April 14, 1908, to the late Mary (Kiehart) Kopa Psuich and Anthony Kopa , where she lived before moving to Clifton in 1940.

Anna will be remembered for her many years of service to St. John Kanty Church, where she was active for over 60 years. In addition to caring for the Altars and Vestments, she helped with making quilts for the church, the communion breakfasts, and making pierogi. Anna was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society, the Golden Circle and Leisure Club, Loaves and Fishes and St. Anthony's Guild. In addition to her church, Anna's family will remember her for her superb baking and polish cooking.

Beloved wife of the late Walter who died in 1967. Devoted mother of Ted (Anthony) Yarrish of Clifton, Loretta Dvorak and her husband Eugene of Vero Beach, FL., Alfred Yarrish and his wife Joann of Centennial Park, AZ and Lucille Morris and her husband Richard of Boca Raton Fl., and the late Maryann. Dear sister of the late Veronica Hoinsky and Florence Ponds John, Joseph and Martin Kopa and Joseph M. Shook, Sr.. Loving grandmother of 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

With deepest gratitude, the family wishes to thank Maria Komperda for the compassionate care of their mother. Also the Daughters of Miriam Center where Anna lived for over two years. Also her son Ted and her grandchildren that visited and helped care for her on a daily basis for many years.

Funeral Saturday, August 14th, 8 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hacksensack. Visiting Friday August 13th, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. www.shookfh.com
