Anna Jacobowitz, 96, of Clifton, passed away on September 18, 2025. Born in Passaic, she was a resident of Clifton most of her life. Anna, a homemaker, was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton.

Beloved wife for 61 years of the late John "Jay" Jacobowitz who passed away in 2012. Devoted mother of Karen Chowansky and her husband Aftan. Loving grandmother of Andrea Mammarella and her husband Dominic, and Amy Ongaro and her husband Christopher. Cherished great grandmother of Luca and Nico Mammarella, and Andrew Ongaro. Dear sister of the late Rose Marakowitz.

Visiting Tuesday, September 23, 2025, 4-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Wednesday, September 24, 2025, 8:45 AM at the funeral home, and 10 AM at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Entombment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
