Ann R. (Chorney) Mazza, 91, of Clifton, passed away on July 24, 2014. Born in Rittman, OH, Ann was raised in Brooklyn before moving to Clifton 59 years ago. A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Ann was a member of the Rosary Society, was a founding member of the SJK Home and School Association, and was a member of AARP #878. Before retiring in 1992, Ann was the Secretary to the President of Montclair State University, Montclair, for 23 years. Beloved wife of the late John who passed away in 1998. Devoted mother of Dennis J. And his wife Toni of Nutley. Loving grandmother of Anthony and his wife Laura of Wayne. Cherished great grandmother of Dominic. Dear sister of Anthony Chorney of Queens, NY, and the late Sophie Gutowski, Luba Davis, Nancy Bartash, Michael, Joseph and Ignatius Chorney. Funeral Service Monday 10:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Entombment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting Sunday 2-6 PM at the funeral home.
