Ann (Jediny) Babich, 91, of North Bergen passed away on January 16, 2013. Born in Czechoslovakia, Ann came to the US in 1935, at the age of 14, and first settled in Guttenberg, living in Manhattan and North Bergen before moving to Naples 8 years ago. A former member of Ss. Peter & Paul's Lutheran Church, Guttenberg, Ann was a homemaker for most of her life. Beloved by all who knew her, Ann was a gentle spirit with a generous heart who excelled at cooking, baking, gardening, sewing and oil painting. Her motherly love was felt by those whose lives she touched and she will be dearly missed by family and friends. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Babich. Devoted mother of Emily Cruz of Marco Island, FL. Cherished grandmother of the late Sarah. Funeral Tuesday 10:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton.
