Angelo Borrero, 41, of Passaic, passed away on October 15, 2015. Born and raised in the Bronx, he was a resident of Passaic for the past 11 years. Angelo worked for Olmstead Properties, Inc., in New York City as a Property Superintendent for the past 16 years, and was a member of the Service Employees International Union, Local 32B-32J. A talented musician, Angelo loved to sing, was a great Interior Decorator and enjoyed collecting records and coins. A Classic Car enthusiast, Angelo was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed Slot Car Racing. Beloved High School Sweetheart and husband for 24 years of Yuberka (Francisco). Devoted father of Angelo and Alexandra Borrero of Passaic. Loving son of Juan Borrero of Puerto Rico and Maria Tirado of the Bronx. Dear brother of Ivo Tirado of the Bronx, Gilbert Tirado of Orlando, FL, Denise Tirado of the Bronx, and Ana Valesquez of Elizabeth. Loving nephew of Victorina Martell of the Bronx, Candice and Maximia Martell, both of Puerto Rico. Also survived by his mother in law Gilda Tavares, brother and sister in laws Benito, Cristina, Carlos and Nelo Francisco, godchild Brittany Cruz, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Monday 10:00 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Interment, Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton. Visiting Sunday 3-7 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family will accept donations towards Angelo and Alexandra's Education Fund.
