Longtime Caldwell resident Anastasia Jane Foley died June 14, 2022, at the age of 87 after a brief illness.  Born in Throop, PA, Anastasia moved to Caldwell as a toddler and graduated from Grover Cleveland High school.  Anastasia worked at the Caldwell Progress and St. Aloysius Rectory before marrying her husband of 58 years, Quentin Foley.  Together they raised a family of four while Anastasia also pursued a career as an executive assistant at Electro-Biology, Inc.

She is survived by her husband Quentin, a daughter Mary Margaret, and sons Quentin, Jr (Beth), Stephen (Joan), and John Paul (Katherine), seven grandchildren, and a brother Stephen Messarosh, Jr.  She was preceded in death by her parents Stephen and Veronica Messarosh, and sister Margaret Sullivan.

A funeral mass will take place at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Caldwell, NJ at 10:30am, Friday, July 15th, 2022, followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
