Amrutlal Harkishandas Jariwala , 83, of Passaic, NJ, passed away on January 3 ^rd at St. Mary's Hospital.

Amrutlal was born on November 7, 1938 in Surat, India. After graduating from K.P. Patel College with a Bachelor's in Commerce with a specialty in accounting, he joined his family's embroidery business. In February of 1959, he met and married Anuradha Balubhai Rana, going on to have four children, Lata Rana, Jayshree Majiwala, Jyotindra Jariwala, and Sanjay Jariwala, respectively. Eventually, both moved to USA in 1989 to be with their children.

In the United States, he worked several jobs to help support his family and guided the Indian community regarding social services. He was known for greeting everyone with his charismatic smile and style. Furthermore, he loved being a tourist, especially visiting various temples. Amrutlal loved his family and friends. Currently, his legacy is continued by his children, eleven grandchildren (Neha, Bhumika, Amisha, Komal, Sunny, Bhavisha, Mitesh, Mitul, Roshni, Virali, and Ashish), and five great-grandchildren (Rohan, Dev, Rhea, Jeev, and Aidan).

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. Services will be held at Shook Funeral Home on January 5, 2022 from 10 AM to 12 PM. Please join us as we celebrate his life.
