Amelia Muniz Duran of Paterson passed away on June 3, 2025. Born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico, she traveled to the US and settled in Paterson. Amelia worked as a seamstress for Fairytale, New York, NY, for several years and was the owner and operator of Amelia's Boutique, Paterson, for many years before retiring. Amelia enjoyed collecting and shopping for antiques, cooking and dancing.

Beloved wife of the late Albert Duran. Devoted mother of Elena Pagan, Angelina Vega and her husband Antonio and step-children the late Albert Duran, Jr. and Richard Duran. Loving grandmother of Ashley and Justin Pagan, Esmeralda A. Hernandez and her husband Derick and the late Antonio, Jr. Cherished great-grandmother of Jaxon, Valentino, Tianna, Aniya, Julian, Nevaeh, Lennox and 1 on the way. Dear sister of Hilaria Muniz, Justina Perez, Juanita Russo, Paul Muniz and the late Marco, Valentina, Hilario, Doris, and Ana Maria Luisa Muniz.
