Amanda Puente De La Vega, 88, of Clifton, passed away on October 6, 2022.

Born in Trujillo, Peru, she came to the US in 1982 and lived in Passaic before moving to Clifton. Before retiring in 1982, Amanda was a Kindergarten Teacher in Peru for many years.

Beloved wife of the late Juan who passed away in 1992. Devoted mother of Flor (Rosendo), Lucy (Jorge Quevedo), Washington (Ana Carrillo), Wilson (Nancy Franco), Miriam, Liliana Bocanegra (Jorge), Jessica (Danny Pugliese), Christian, Jairo, and the late Silvia. Loving grandmother of 22 grandchildren. Dear sister of Wilbert and Berberli Moreno.

Visiting Monday 9 AM to 12 Noon at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Service will begin at 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment, Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson.
