Allen John Mazalewski, 74, of Clifton, passed away on November 30, 2018. Born in Newark, he lived in Jersey City before moving to Clifton.
A parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle, Allen was a Police Lieutenant with the Jersey City Police Department, retiring in 1995 with over 26 years of service. An accountant for the Jersey City Police Credit Union, Allen was a member of the Clifton Elks Lodge #1569, Clifton, and enjoyed Karaoke.

Beloved husband of Jacqueline (Belviso). Devoted father of Michelle Nayda and her husband Scott, Maryann Neff and her husband Arthur, and Dorothy Mazalewski. Dear step father of James Telford, Jr., Peter Telford and his wife Sheena, Lynn Ann Telford and her wife Cathy Stepiro, and Nicole Colon and her husband Pedro. Loving grandfather of Scott, Sebastian, Marina, James, Anthony, Stephen, Alyssa, Gianna, Milania, and the late Nia. Dear brother of Raymond.
Visiting Wednesday 6-9 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Cremation will be private.
