Alkistis (Kyprianou) Von Gizycki, 76, of Clifton passed away on March 21, 2026. Born in Cyprus, she traveled to the US in 1986 and first lived in Lynchburg, VA, and later lived in Brooklyn, NY, before settling in Clifton. Alkistis worked as a teacher for many years before retiring.

Devoted mother of Elsa Gavrielidou and Bernard Von Gizycki. Cherished grandmother of Sebastian and Xander. Loving sister of Georgette Chiotis.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, March 26, from 12– 2PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Cremation was private.
