Alice K. Smith, 83, of Butler, passed away on February 17, 2021. Born in Paterson, she lived in Ocala, FL, for 50 years, before moving to Butler last July. Before retiring, Alice was the officer manager for Pinecrest Stables, Inc., in Ocala, FL, for over 20 years, and was a big supporter of Wreaths Across America.

Beloved wife of the late Leon Smith. Devoted mother of Sally Lawson and her husband Richard of Butler, David Freeman and his wife Dawn of Wayne, Steven Freeman and his wife Dilfuza of Clifton, and the late Wesley Freeman who passed away in January. Loving grandmother of Melanie Sillsbury, Daniel Freeman, Christopher Freeman, Zachary Lawson, Alexa Lawson-DeLong, Alyssa Freeman, Matthew Freeman and Kaylin Freeman and many great-grandchildren. Dear sister of her identical twin Margaret Hines of Pompton Plains and Lucille DiRocco of New Fairfield, CT. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Services were private under the direction of the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton.
