Alfred T. Deleasa, 77, of Clifton passed away on May 24, 2011. Born in Hackensack, he lived in Carlstadt before moving to Clifton 50 years ago. A Navy Veteran of the Korean War, Al worked as an Electrical Engineer for Honeywell in Morristown for 30 years before retiring in 1991. A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Al was an active member of the Holy Name Society and the Athenia Veterans Post, Clifton. Beloved husband for 50 years of Joan (Trella). Devoted father of Kara Ann Fersch of Clifton. Cherished grandfather of Ashley and Kaitlyn Fersch. Dear brother of Phyllis Paladino of Lodi, Tina Presti of Manchester, Robert Deleasa, Richard Deleasa and Dorothy Crifasi, all of Carslstadt, and the late Philip, Joseph, Anthony, Thomas and Edward. Funeral Saturday, 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
