Alexis Kopsel-Vale, 67, of Clifton passed away on November 12, 2013. Born in Passaic, she lived in Clifton for all of her life. A parishioner of Three Saints Russian Orthodox Church, Garfield, Alexis was a member of the Church Committee since 2008. Alexis worked as the Main Office Manager for the Academy of the Holy Angels, Demarest, for 8 years and previously for St. Paul's, Clifton, for many years. She was also a member of the Montclair Beach Club as well as a Columnist for The Post Eagle Newspaper, Clifton. Beloved daughter of Alexander Kopsel and the late Helen (Bortinchak). Cherished sister of Allan Kopsel of Clifton. Funeral Friday 8:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton and 9:30 AM at Three Saints R.O. Church, Garfield. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home with Parastas at 7 PM.
