Alexander J. Reyes, 47, of Clifton passed away on August 21, 2013. Born in La Ceiba, Honduras, Alexander came to the US in 1985 and lived in the Woodside section of Queens and Passaic before moving to Clifton in 1986. A veteran of the Honduras Navy, Alexander was a Truck Driver for 17 years for Sealy and Primex Plastics and later went on to open his own business, Wholesale Mattress Outlet in Paterson. A self-proclaimed "clean freak", Alexander loved music, dancing, and working in his garden; But above all, he loved spending time with family, especially his parents. Beloved husband for 26 years of Paula Y. (Sarmiento) Reyes. Devoted father of Osiris Urrutia and her husband Michael of Northlake, TX, Alexandra Reyes of Cypress, TX, and Alexander Reyes, Jr. of Clifton. Adored Son of Julio and Lorna (Gonzalez) Reyes of Clifton. Cherished grandfather of Hailey K. Zutic. Dear brother of Angela Reyes of Clifton and Julio R. Reyes of Hamilton. Loving uncle of Julian Torres of Clifton and Kimberly and Julie Reyes, both of Hamilton. Funeral Service Sunday 4:00 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton.
