Alex W. "Big Al" Deribin, 80, of Clifton passed away on June 19, 2014. Born and raised in Newark, Al moved to Clifton in 1979. He worked on roofing and siding for Capital Roofing for over 20 years, retiring in 1999. Beloved husband of 28 years of Katherine (Ott). Devoted father of Keith Deribin, Kellee Deribin, Dennis Deribin, Alex Deribin, and Darlene Serra. Cherished grandfather of Eliana, Joshua and Trevor. Dear brother of Michael Deribin. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, 7-9 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Cremation was private.
