Aleksandr A. Kopilenko, 75, of Passaic, passed away on December 10, 2025. Born in Lithuania, he came to the US from Latvia in 1993 and lived in Clifton for 28 years, before moving to Passaic in 2021.

Before retiring, Aleksandr was a Railroad Engineer in Latvia. A lover of nature, Aleksandr enjoyed spending time outdoors and taking walks in the woods. He loved spending time and playing with his grandchildren, as well as cooking, pickling, coin collecting and helping his friends.

Beloved husband of Vera Kopilenko. Devoted father of Alla Katashev and her husband Mikhail. Loving grandfather of Victoria and Aleksandra. Dear brother of Yuri Kopilenko and his wife Anna.
