Aleksander Hlawacz, 62, of Clifton passed away October 5, 2010. Born in Poland, Aleksander came to the US in 1986 and settled in Clifton. A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, he was a Bus Mechanic for Coach USA in Paramus for the past 15 years.

Beloved husband of Anna (Pawlik). Devoted father of Wojciech and his wife Marcela of Elmwood Park, Katarzyna Iglar and her husband Richard of Pequannock, Krzysztof and Marcin both of Clifton. Dear brother of the late Jozef who died in 1997, and Maria Bator who died in 2008. Loving grandfather of Alexander, David, Johnnie and Patrick.

Funeral Saturday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visiting Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. www.shookfh.com
