Albert Vero, 85, of Passaic, passed away on July 23, 2013. Born in Passaic he was a life long resident. A parishioner of St. Clare's RC Church, Clifton, Albert was a Margin Supervisor for Shearson Lehman Brothers in NYC for 25 years, retiring in 1992. An accomplished Trumpet Player, Albert belonged to several Musician's Locals in NY and NJ and played with the Duke Collins Orchestra, the Joe Payne Orchestra, the Alstan Orchestra, played at the Polish People's Home in Passaic, and hosted a live talk show on Friday night radio. Beloved husband of the late Catherine (Ridgell) who passed away in 2008. Devoted father of Albert and his wife LauraLynn of Barnegat, Carol Miller and her husband George of Palisades Park, Catherine Pellicier and her husband William of Passaic, and the late Michael who passed away in 2010. Loving grandfather of Albert, Laura, Jonathan, Carol, Stephen, Thomas, Jenine, Catherine, William, Michael, Christopher, Michele, and 21 great grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Jean Amato. Funeral Friday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Clare's RC Church, Clifton. Cremation Private. Visiting Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
