Alan Kravetz, 71, of Newburgh, NY, formerly of Clifton, passed away on January 7, 2024. Born in Passaic, Alan was raised in Clifton and lived there for many years before moving to Newburgh 20 years ago. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a bachelor's degree in physics and a master's degree in electrooptic studies. He went on to work for Kollmorgen for several years and later worked for Minolta USA before retiring.

Dear brother of Ronald Kravetz of Grand Terrace, CA. Alan will be missed by his cousins and extended family.

Visiting Thursday 4-8PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Friday 8:45AM at the funeral home and 10AM at St. Michael's Byzantine Cathedral, Passaic. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack.
