Alan M. Hriczov, 68, of Clifton, passed away on September 16, 2015. Born in Passaic, he was a lifelong resident of Clifton. A parishioner of Assumption of the Holy Virgin Orthodox Church, Clifton, Alan was a member of the Parish Council for many years. An Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, Alan was a Custodian for the Montclair Board of Education for over 25 years, retiring in 2013, and was a member of the Athenia Veterans Post, Clifton. Beloved husband of Margaret (Asaro). Devoted father of Scott and his wife Cecilia of Bloomingdale, Dana Berry and her husband Don of Montaque, and Jaime Huber and her husband Stephen of Butler. Loving grandfather of Gavin, Brody, Giada, Von and Logan. Funeral Monday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Assumption of the Holy Virgin Orthodox Church, Clifton.
