Akshay A. Patel, 73, of Clifton passed away on February 5, 2023. Born in Ahmedabad, India, he traveled to the US and settled in Clifton. Akshay was a mechanical engineer by trade, and was a kitchen designer for Home Depot, Clifton, for many years.

Beloved husband of Mirian (Jimenez) Patel. Devoted father of Swikar Patel and his wife Bethany of South Carolina, Joey Avendano and his wife Mayte of Georgia and Massiel Avendano of Clifton. Cherished grandfather of Antonio, Alexander and Ayden. Loving brother of Paresh and Sheela Patel. Dear uncle of several nieces and nephews. He will sadly miss by his canine companion, The Maharaja.
