Aida Elisa Sewer, 96, of Paterson passed away on October 12, 2020. Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, she came to the US in 1955 and lived in NYC and Paterson before settling in Passaic. A die hard NY Yankees fan, Aida was a teacher in the Dominican Republic and loved devoting her time singing, and volunteering at local hospitals and adult day care centers. Aida enjoyed attending services at Calvary Temple in Wayne.

Loving sister of Edwardo and Estela Sewer, Noemi Sewer Baldwin, Nelson Sewer, and of the late Carlos, Rafael, Jose, Juan, Cesar and Alfredo Sewer, and Hilda Sewer Astwood.

Visiting Thursday 6- 8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, with a prayer service at 7 PM. Cremation private.
