Adolph Nowacki, 92, of Penfield, NY, formerly of Clifton passed away on March 5, 2011.
Born in Youngstown, OH he lived in Clifton for many years before retiring to the Toms River area and has been a resident of Rochester, NY area for the past 6 years.
A former parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Adolph was a member of the Holy Name Society. An Army Veteran of WW II, Adolph was a member of the Athenia Veterans Post, Clifton.
Adolph owned and operated Nowackis Meat Market for 20 years before retiring to Lavallette where he drove a school bus part-time for a number of years.
Beloved husband of the late Nellie (Lubas) who passed away in 2002. Devoted father of Robert and his wife Adriana of Victor, NY, and Denis and his wife Sheila of Painesville, OH. Loving grandfather of Nathan, Pete, and the late Eric and Andrew. Dear brother of Michael of Towaco, and the late Frank, Charles, Stanley and Sigmond. Dear brother-in-law of Phyllis Nowacki of Clifton.
Funeral Saturday, 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting Friday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM. www.shookfh.com
