Adam C. Wizner, Sr., 77, of Budd Lake, passed away on September 22, 2015. Born in Flemington, he lived in Clifton before moving to Budd Lake 13 years ago. An Army Veteran of the Korean War, Adam was a self employed contractor for 60 years servicing Montclair and Clifton, and was the owner of A.C. Wizner Roofing Co. in Clifton. Adam enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and was a member of the National Rifle Association. A wonderful father and stepfather, loved by all that truly knew him. His passion was hunting and fishing and watching his children do the same. Beloved husband for 36 years of Elizabeth (McAllister). Devoted father of Sandra Lewis, Adam Wizner Jr. and his wife Liz, Mark Wizner Jr and his fiancé Aliesha Fink, Chris Mellon and his wife Teri, Heather Wynne and her husband Jim, and the late Mark Wizner Sr. Loving grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Eva Ledo and the late Sophie Leta, Annie Guhl, George, John and Anthony Wizner, Mary Renna and Pauline Ryan. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife Shirley Wizner. Special gratitude to the staff at St Clair's Hospital Denville for the support in his final days.
