Adam Bednarz , 95 of Clifton, passed away on August 18, 2021. Born in Poland, he came to the US in 1960 and lived in Wood-Ridge and Wallington, before moving to Clifton many years ago.

A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Adam was a Machinist for Leslie Co. for 30 years, retiring many years ago. Adam enjoyed spending his time gardening, sharing his WWII recollections and was known for his abilities to fix just about everything.

Beloved husband for nearly 70 years of the late Joanna (Nieradka), who passed away 1 year ago. Devoted father of Ed Bednarz (Sophie) of  San Antonio, TX, Chet Bednarz (Mary) of Upper Saddle River, John Bednarz (Stacy) of Oakland, Ted Bednarz (Alice) of West Milford, and Joanne Bednarz-Szewc of San Antonio, TX. Loving grandfather of  Erik (Emily), Chris (Jesse), Renee (Jared), Michelle (Martin), Adam, Greg, Monika (Lee), Jason (Lexi), Katherine (Nick), Victoria, and Dominik. Cherished great grandfather of  Noah, Nathan, Elise, Milana, Zachary, Isabelle, Olivia, Martin Joseph, Vivenne, Brooke, Ryan, Lucas.

Funeral Tuesday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Monday 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
